KIDS Group Fishing Lesson - BASIC

ONLY 04 JULY - ONE CLASS ONLY Our hands-on lessons teach kids not only how to fish but how to grow. Each session is a mix of education, fun, and outdoor adventure — designed to keep every child engaged and proud of their progress.

ONLY 04 JULY - 2 SESSIONS ONLY Beginner level, landbased fishing for ALL AGES. Catch & Release. ALL TACKLE AND BAIT PROVIDED. The anglers will be guided by Vince, our passionate, experienced instructor, giving suggestions on how to improve performances. We only ask that ALL anglers will have to be able to cast their own rod. We will help with everything else.

Reel Servicing Class

ONLY 03 JULY - Class ideal for adults and 16yo+ Our aim is improving your confidence in opening, servicing and correctly reassembling your spinning reels. Save money on your reels maintenance! If you'd like, grab a beer and support the venue.

Training

ONE DATE ONLY. 3rd of July.
Class will be at 5:30-7pm.
Location The WALKABOUT RESTAURANT Port Hedland.
Every person will be guided on servicing a reel (provided) and will have access to all tools, grease, brushes and schematics to complete the service.

Every student will learn:

🔧 How to safely disassemble a spinning fishing reel
🧼 How to clean and degrease each part
📘 How to use reel schematics
🛢️ What grease to use and where to place it
💧 Correct oil and grease placement
🔩 How to reassemble the reel correctly
All reels and needed tools will be provided (grease, oil, brushes, etc.)

I said why not!

Karratha and the Pilbara are home of some of the best fishing and anglers in Australia. Kids grow up surronded by fishing gear but time to teach them is not always there. A few years ago, I have created myFishingTrip.net to help anglers fishing in places they have never been before and access local knowledge. This time I felt I could use my passion and knowledge to help the little local legends of the Pilbara. I said why not!
